What you need to know to plan your trip
Kariba Airport is an international airport. Although no commercial international airlines currently fly into this airport, the customs and immigration officials, posted at the Dam Wall border post, will assist with entry and exit formalities for guests arriving on an international charter. We will arrange for the officials to meet guests on arrival and departure at the airport.
Guests can make use of the Bumi Air shuttle service between Bumi Hills Airfield and either Harare or Victoria Falls. This shuttle operates at a minimum of 3 times weekly on both sectors.
We can arrange road transfers between Matusadona and Chirundu or Lusaka in Zambia and from tourist destinations in Zimbabwe.
All travelers to Zimbabwe require a visa, which is easiest obtained at the port of entry into the country. Those entering Zimbabwe on a passport other than a Southern African States passport are required to pay a visa fee. For a single entry visa, the cost is US$ 30 pp, whereas a double entry will cost US$ 45 pp.
Zimbabwe is a malaria area and we recommend that travellers seek advice from their doctor and/or travel clinic on the use of anti‐malarial prophylactics. Please consult your Foreign Offices and Consular Sections for further travel, health and safety advisories.
